PetiteKnit – Honey Bucket Bag

The Honey Bkucket Bag is knitted in one piece from the bottom up. First, the bottom is knitted in stockinette stitch and then the sides of the bag are knitted in mesh patent. At the top, a channel is knitted for a drawstring closure. Finally, a lining is sewn which is fitted into the bag. The pattern also includes instructions for sewing the lining.

Knitting strength: 18 stitches x 56 rounds in mesh patent on needles 2.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm

Knitting suggestions: Circular needle 2.5 mm (40 and 60 cm), double pointed needles 2.5 mm

Materials: Approx. 50 (65) g Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) (here in the color Almond 2511)  knit together with approx. 27 (33) g Thin Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) (here in the color Kitt 1015) or approx. 27 (33) g Silk Mohair from Isager (25 g = 210 m).

Fabric for lining 68 x 18 (81 x 21) cm, and possibly chain to handle
