We always do our utmost to ensure that the product images reproduce the colors correctly. However, monitors display colors differently, some may display them deeper and stronger while others brighter. We therefore cannot guarantee that the pictures show the exact color of the yarn. Wash and care
Finished garments in this yarn can be machine washed at a maximum of 60 degrees.
Scheepjes Organicon består av 100% mjuk, ekologisk bomull. Garnet passar utmärkt för att sticka lätta plagg, accessoarer, små djur, leksaker och filtar.
Organicon finns i 70 olika färger, allt från neutrala toner och mjuka pasteller till skarpa färger.
Organicon produceras i enlighet med Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) vilket är den hållbarhetsmärkning inom textilindustrin. Detta garanterar att bomullen är ekologisk. De skriver själva så här:
The Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS certification guarantees through traceability that the cotton has been grown on organic certified fields without the use of chemical fertilisers, farmed in a sustainable manner and in a way that ensures the continuing fertility of the land it is grown on. The dyes used are also GOTS-certified.
Recycled Wastewater Produced
While most cotton yarns are produced using 10,000-20,000 litres of fresh water, Organicon, like all of Scheepjes’ 100% Cotton yarns and several cotton blends, is produced using 95% recycled wastewater. Once the remaining 5% is treated with natural substances, it is classed as biodegradable and can be safely returned to the local environment.
Vegan-friendly
From the dyes used to colour this yarn, to its 100% plant-based fibre, Scheepjes Organicon respects the welfare of animals and offers a high-quality alternative for all conscious crafters. It contains zero animal products or their by-products.
