50 kr

Please note that the pattern is only sent if you order at least two balls of yarn at the same time. Orders that do not meet this requirement will be cancelled.

This is a printed pattern in Swedish.

SIZE: Adapted to your yarn amount. See examples below.

MESH DENSITY: 20 stitches & 23 ridges = 10 cm in garter stitch, knitted with yarn 320m/100g on needles 4 mm. Mesh density is not critical in this project.

YARN: Yarn in untreated wool with approx. 300–500m/100g,
for example Rauma Finull (175m/50g), Sandnes Sunday (235m/50g), Sandnes Tynn Peer Gynt (207m/50g), Filcolana Pernilla (175m/50g).
Suggested amount: Color 1: 100 grams, Colors 2–6: approx. 25 grams each.
Feel free to use leftover yarn and knit until the yarn runs out. See examples below.

SPLINTERS: 3–4 mm circular needle approx. 120–150 cm. Adjust the stitch size to the yarn you want to use.

ACCESSORIES: Stop pin, kitchen scale (not necessary).

Zero Waste is an approach that focuses on avoiding waste of resources. The shawl is designed to be on whatever yarn you want to use. The pattern accommodates different gauges of yarn - a great opportunity to use a single skein from the yarn collection, along with some scraps in favorite colours.
You can follow the striping of the pattern but it is not a must - let the yarn guide.
The stitch density is not critical in this project, choose a needle that fits your yarn. The thickness of the yarn will affect the size of the shawl.

CONSTRUCTION
The shawl is knitted from one corner, on the diagonal. It provides a stretchy fabric that is comfortable to wear. The shape is a slightly asymmetrical triangle and the proportions are the same no matter how big or small the shawl you choose to knit.
