Muntra Advent - an elastic knitted hat for Advent and Christmas.

CONSTRUCTION
Muntra Advent is knitted in the round, from the bottom up, in rib knitting. The hat starts with a tube lay-on, the cuff is then knitted in elastic with yarn A. The hood is knitted with yarn B & C held together. The decreases are knitted with double pointed needles or Magic Loop. The ball of yarn is made of yarn A.

SIZES
1, (2, 3, 4). Fits head circumference: 46–49, (50–53, 54–57, 58–61) cm.

MESH DENSITY
34 stitches & 30 rounds = 10 cm knitted in elastic (1 K, 1 P) with yarn A on the narrower needle, unstretched, after blocking.

YARN A (mud & ball of yarn): Sandnes Double Sunday (108m/50g) color 1012 (cream white): 80, (90, 100, 105) m.
Yarn B (bonnet): Sandnes Sunday (235m/50g) color 4236 (red): 130, (160, 190, 210) m.
Yarn C (bonnet): Isager Silk Mohair (212m/25g) color 32 (red): 130, (160, 190, 210) m.

SPLINTERS
3.5 mm circular needle 40 cm and double pointed needles (or Magic Loop).
4.5 mm two circular needles (any length) for laying on.

ACCESSORIES
Stitch markers, darning needle, template for the ball of yarn (Ø 45 mm), sharp scissors for polishing the ball of yarn, steam and kitchen tongs for steaming the ball of yarn.
