The Zipper Jacket is knitted from the top down. The back is knitted first, then the two front pieces. Before the body is completed, double knit front edges are knitted on the yoke, and the stitches from here are then included in the body stitches. The double knit front edges appear as stockinette stitch on both the right and wrong sides.

The jacket closes at the front with a zipper, and a lining is knitted for the zipper before it is attached.

The sleeves are knitted in the round from the outside, picked up at the armhole. Finally, the inside pockets are knitted from the outside, picked up at the front of the jacket.

Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the right tension.

Size guide

Zipper Jacket should have a range of motion ( positive ease) of approx. 35 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The fit is oversize. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished jacket are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best.
