The cardigan is knitted from top to bottom with a pattern according to the diagram in Alpakka Wool and Alpakka Thread.
First, stitches are cast on for the back piece, which is worked back and forth with turning rows to form a slanted shoulder. It is worked back and forth to down under the sleeves. Then stitches are cast on for the front pieces, decreasing and increasing stitches for the neckline. The front pieces are worked back and forth to down under the sleeves, before being knitted together with the back piece. The piece is worked back and forth to the full length, before being finished with an elastic band. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves. The sleeves are worked in the round with a pattern according to the diagram to the full length, before being finished with an elastic band. The front edges and the neckline are finished.
The entire cardigan is knitted with 1 thread of each quality.
