PetiteKnit – Santa hat

The Santa hat is knitted in the round on a circular needle and with double pointed needles (or with the magic loop technique) from the bottom of the forehead up towards the top. Along the forehead, a channel is sewn for a wide elastic band, which means that the hood has a good fit regardless of the child's head size. Finally, a small tassel is made which is sewn to the top of the Santa hat.

Sizes: Little Big). Fits a head circumference less (larger) than 50 cm

Stick strength: 23 stitches x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch

Knitting suggestions: 40 cm circular needle and 3.5 mm, double pointed needles 3.5 mm

Material: 100 (100) g yarn, approx. 0.5 m elastic (2 cm wide)

Yarn: Pernilla from Filcolana (50 g = 175 m) or Alpakka from Sandnes yarn (50 g = 110 m) or Double Sunday from Sandnes yarn (50 g = 108 m).
