Carl's Cardigan is knitted from the bottom up with raglan decreases on the yoke. The torso is knitted in smock, the sleeves are knitted in stocking stitch. Smock knitting stretches with washing and use – so your cardigan looks slim right after you've knitted it. After washing and use, it will get the right measurements.

Knit a test patch, to check the knit strength after washing, before you start.
