Cotton Merino from Knitting for Olive is an incredibly soft and light yarn in a fantastic blend of cotton and merino wool. It is 70% cotton and 30% RWS-certified merino wool (Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), certified by Control Union, CU 898826). The wool makes the yarn both elastic and soft even though the larger proportion of the yarn consists of cotton. The yarn can be used all year round.
The yarn is naturally mulesing-free and the spinning mill follows ethical and environmental standards, resulting in a yarn free of harmful chemicals. The yarn is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.

About color reproduction
About color reproduction
We always do our utmost to ensure that the product images reproduce the colors correctly. However, monitors display colors differently, some may display them deeper and stronger while others brighter. We therefore cannot guarantee that the pictures show the exact color of the yarn. Wash and care
Wash and care
This yarn is best washed by hand with wool detergent, for example Eucalan. Let the garment lie in a tub with about 4 liters of water together with a teaspoon of wool detergent. Then gently squeeze out the water and place the garment on a towel. Roll the towel with the garment and squeeze out the water.
If you have a washing machine that can run a spin-only program, you can use this instead of squeezing out the water in a towel. If you are unsure about your washing machine, we recommend that you knit a test patch that you wash and spin to see how the yarn and fabric behave.
Let the garment dry flat, preferably on a towel. The garment should not be dried in direct sunlight, it can be in the sun without any problems when it is dry.
