Copenhagen Cardigan is knitted top down with raglan increases, back and forth on a circular needle. The neckline is shaped using shortened rows. The cardigan is knitted in stocking stitch, while along the front edges, rib is knitted to form button plackets. Finally, inside pockets are knitted on the front of the body. These are knitted from picked-up stitches. The sleeves are knitted in the round in stocking stitch on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique.

Size guide

Copenhagen Cardigan should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 6 cm. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130

(130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished cardigan are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A cardigan in size S has an upper width of 95 cm and will in the above example give a range of movement (positive ease) of 5 cm.
