Don't forget to buy yarn for your pattern if we are going to send it

This is a printed pattern in Swedish. The pattern is only sent if you buy at least 2 balls of yarn at the same time. We reserve the right to cancel orders that do not comply with this.

The Caramel Sweater is knitted top down with raglan increases on the yoke. The Caramel Sweater has a long polo collar in double rib knit, and the neckline is shaped using shortened rows in the transition between polo collar and yoke. Double elastic is also knitted on the sleeves and at the bottom of the torso. These elastic edges will initially contract but after washing/ironing/blocking they will stretch. The Caramel Sweater is assembly-free.

Size guide

Caramel Sweater should have a range of motion ( positive ease) of 10-15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL correspond to a bust measurement measured on your own body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm . The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the first page of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the knit strength is maintained). Measure yourself before you start knitting, to judge which size fits you best. If you e.g. measures 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an excess width of 99 cm and in the mentioned example will provide a range of motion ( positive ease) of 9 cm.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL

Measurements of the sweater: Overall width: 95 (99) 103 (109) 116 (126) 135 cm

Length: 47 (49) 53 (56) 58 (60) 60 cm (measured from the end of the polo collar down)

Sleeve length: 46 (46) 47 (47) 47 (47) 47 cm

Stick strength: 21 stitches x 28 rounds in stockinette stitch on needles 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm

Knitting suggestions: Circular needle 4 mm (40 and 80 or 100 cm), double pointed needles 4 mm

Material: 250 (250) 250 (250) 300 (350) 350-400 g Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) knit together with 125 (125) 125 (125-150) 150 (175) 175-200 g Thin Silk Mohair from Sandnes Yarn (25 g = 212 m) or Silk Mohair from Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 m)

Knitting without mohair? Feel free to replace a thread of silk mohair with Alpaca 1 from Isager (50 g = 400 m), Alpakka trailing thread from Sandnes (50 g = 400 m) or Alva from Filcolana (25 g = 175 m). Then count so that you have the same number of meters as the original yarn. So if you need 125 grams of silk mohair (let's count on 210 meters for the sake of simplicity) you need 5x210 meters = 1050 meters. It corresponds to 3 skeins of Alpaca 1 or Alpakka twine, or 6 skeins of Alva.
