Isager - Sock yarn

Isager's Sock yarn consists of 40% easy wash alpaca, 40% easy wash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. The yarn has good durability, is soft and can be washed in a machine on a delicate wash at 30° with wool detergent.

Both the alpaca and the merino wool are treated with a method called easy wash, it is an environmentally friendly method where you treat the yarn with oxidants so that it does not shrink as easily in the machine. Easy wash is a method developed in Germany and the method is certified under REACH, Oeko-tex and ZDH /Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemical). Unlike many other methods used to make fibers machine washable, no harmful substances end up in nature with easy wash.

• 40% easy wash alpaca, 40% easy wash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon
• Indicative knitting strength: 24-28 m/10 cm
• Recommended knitting needles: 2.5-3.5
• Weight / length: 50 grams = approx. 193 meters
• The work can be machine washed at 30° and we recommend using detergent intended for wool.
• The yarn is spun and dyed in Peru.
