PetiteKnit – Novice slipover

This is a printed pattern in Swedish. The pattern is only sent if you buy at least 2 balls of yarn at the same time. We reserve the right to cancel orders that do not comply with this.

Novice Slipover is knitted from top to bottom in stocking stitch. First the back piece is knitted, and then stitches are picked up in the cast-on edge of the back piece to form shoulders, which are later joined at the front to knit the front piece.

The back and front piece are then brought together under the armhole to form the torso, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle. Finally, elastic edges are knitted along the neckline and armholes. There are instructional videos for all steps in the pattern.

Size guide

Novice Slipover should have a range of motion ( positive ease) of approx. 17 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 ( 130-140) 140-150 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you e.g. measures 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S which has a width of 107 cm. This will provide a range of motion ( positive ease) of 17 cm in the mentioned example.
