The sweater is knitted from top to bottom with a pattern according to a diagram in Alpakka Wool and Thin Silk Mohair.
First, stitches are cast on for the back piece, which is worked back and forth with turning rows to form a slanted shoulder. It is now worked back and forth to down under the sleeves. Then stitches are cast on for the front pieces, decreasing and increasing stitches for the neckline. The front pieces are knitted together and worked back and forth to down under the sleeves. Then the front and back pieces are gathered together and knitted in the round to the full length, before finishing with an elastic band. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves. The sleeves are knitted
in the round with pattern according to diagram to full length, before finishing with a rib in the same way as on the front and back piece. The neckline is knitted at the end.
The entire sweater is knitted with 1 thread of each quality.
GAUGE: 17 sts and 26 rows diagram on 4½ mm needles = 10 cm
