The cardigan is knitted top down in English rib with Tynn Peer Gynt and Tynn Silk Mohair.
Stitches are cast on for the yoke, which is worked back and forth with turning rows and increases for raglan to form a deeper neckline at the front. When the neckline is shaped, work back and forth with increases for raglan. When all stitches are increased, divide the piece into sleeves, front and back pieces and finish each piece separately. The front and back pieces are worked in English rib back and forth and knit. The sleeves are worked in the round in English rib, finished with decreases for a nice detail and folded outwards to form a wide edge.
The front edges are knitted in double knitting and the neckline is finally knitted in rib and folded double towards the wrong side.
STRETCH GAUGE: 20 sts and 52 rows English rib with 1 thread of each quality on needles size 3 = 10 cm
