Alice Top is knitted from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round in stocking stitch and then the piece is divided into front and back, which are knitted separately, back and forth in stocking stitch. The back is knitted in one piece, while the front is knitted in a V-neck. The description also includes instructions for knitting the top from the middle using a temporary cast-on, so that the final length of the top can be adjusted at the very end. Make a swatch to check your knitting tension. Wash the swatch as the recommended yarn will stretch with washing and use.

The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of approximately 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. Alice Top is therefore worn with a range of motion of approximately 0 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A top in size S has an upper width of 88 cm and will in the example given give a range of motion of 0 cm. The model in the picture is wearing a size XS, has a bust measurement of 80 cm and is 164 cm tall. The top is therefore worn with a range of motion of 3 cm.
