The November Jacket is knitted from top to bottom in patent knitting. First, a piece of double knitting is knitted, which should sit at the neck and hang together with the front edges. Next, stitches are picked up in this piece, and the back piece is knitted. Next, the right and left shoulder sections are knitted. These three parts are then joined to knit the body, which is knitted back and forth in patent with front edges in double knitting. Stitches are picked up in the armhole, and the sleeves are knitted from these stitches. The pockets are also knitted in patent and sewn on at the end.

Size guide

The November Jacket should have a range of motion ( positive ease ) of around 20 cm. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 ( 130-140) 140-150 cm. Before you start knitting, measure yourself with a measuring tape to determine which size suits you best. Example: You measure yourself with a measuring tape around the bust (or stomach, if it is the widest part of your body) to 94 cm. This corresponds to the fact that you should knit a size M. A jacket in size M has an overall width of 115 cm and will in the mentioned example give a range of motion ( positive ease ) of 21 cm.
