In this booklet we present a collaboration with the Danish designer Laura Dalgaard and a new series of recipes with the characteristic pattern from the Nordic Mix Sweater. The series is for you who love patterned knitwear, Norwegian wool and garments that really stand out!
The iconic Nordic Mix Sweater, which Laura designed for our magazine Fremstrikk in 2023, has become a great favorite among knitters. The sweater is inspired by traditional knitting from the Nordic countries and the contrasting pattern is a combination of many different patterns.
Now we are expanding the Nordic Mix universe to include more garments and accessories, all of which are just as cool and fun to knit as the original sweater. Laura Dalgaard loves to knit in Norwegian wool. It was therefore a selvfølge that the new series of Nordic Mix products would also be knitted in Norwegian wool. In the recipes, three different qualities of yarn are used; Fine wool, Vams and Fivel with and without Alpaca Silk as a companion thread.
