Woolia is a new, sustainable and organic yarn that fits knitting needles 4-6 mm. Sheep and lambs wander between fruit and olive trees on organic farms and surroundings. Woolia is spun from the wool of lambs and sheep from an original breed of merino sheep, Merino Gentile Puglia. This breed lived and now lives in a small area in Puglia, Italy.
Woolia is a soft yarn. The garments are lightweight and the yarn gives a nice structure and stitch definition. The yarn can be knitted in several needle sizes, but the most common is to reach a knitting tension of 16-18 stitches.

About color reproduction
We always do our utmost to ensure that the product images reproduce the colors correctly. However, monitors display colors differently, some may display them deeper and stronger while others brighter. We therefore cannot guarantee that the pictures show the exact color of the yarn. Wash and care
Wash and care
This yarn is best washed by hand with wool detergent, for example Eucalan. Let the garment lie in a tub with about 4 liters of water together with a teaspoon of wool detergent. Then gently squeeze out the water and place the garment on a towel. Roll the towel with the garment and squeeze out the water.
If you have a washing machine that can run a spin-only program, you can use this instead of squeezing out the water in a towel. If you are unsure about your washing machine, we recommend that you knit a test patch that you wash and spin to see how the yarn and fabric behave.
Let the garment dry flat, preferably on a towel. The garment should not be dried in direct sunlight, it can be in the sun without any problems when it is dry.
