Vilja (formerly Indecita) from Filcolana is a wonderful three-ply yarn spun from alpaca. Vilja is a soft and warm yarn with a nice luster.
Alpaca is an animal that belongs to the camelid family and is native to the highlands of South America. The temperatures there can vary between -20 and +30 degrees, which alpacas are well adapted to. The fiber itself is hollow, which means it breathes when it is warm and insulates well when it is cold.

- The work should be washed by hand with wool detergent and then dried flat.

We always do our utmost to ensure that the product images reproduce the colors correctly. Wash and care
This yarn is best washed by hand with wool detergent, for example Eucalan. Let the garment lie in a tub with about 4 liters of water together with a teaspoon of wool detergent. Then gently squeeze out the water and place the garment on a towel. Roll the towel with the garment and squeeze out the water.
If you have a washing machine that can run a spin-only program, you can use this instead of squeezing out the water in a towel. If you are unsure about your washing machine, we recommend that you knit a test patch that you wash and spin to see how the yarn and fabric behave.
Let the garment dry flat, preferably on a towel. The garment should not be dried in direct sunlight, it can be in the sun without any problems when it is dry.
