PetiteKnit – Ellen's baby set

Ellen's Babyset consists of jacket, trousers and hat.

The jacket is knitted back and forth on the needle, from top to bottom. It closes along the left side. The buttonholes consist of 5 m rib knitting and are knitted together with the rest of the jacket. The trousers are knitted from top to bottom. They are knitted higher in the back with shortened rounds. The hat is knitted back and forth from the forehead to the back, the back of the head is knitted on double pointed needles with decreases. After this, an elastic edge is knitted along the neck, and finally a string is knitted on the cap.

Sizes: 0 (1-3) 3-6 (6-9) 9-12 months.

Jacket: Overall width: 42 (45) 50 (52) 56 cm; length: 21 (24) 24 (28) 32 cm

Pants : waist width: 38 (42) 45 (49) 52 cm; leg length: 13 (16) 19 (22) 25 cm

Knitting strength: 23 stitches x 32 rounds in stockinette stitch on needles 3.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm

Knitting suggestions: Circular needles 3 and 3.5 mm (40 and 60 cm), double pointed needles 3 and 3.5 mm

Materials: 150 (200) 250 (300) 350 g yarn (yarn consumption varies depending on yarn choice), soft elastic band (2 cm wide), 8 – 11 buttons ø = 12-14 mm

Yarn suggestions: Alpaca from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 110 m) or Duo from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 124 m)
