Friday Slipover is knitted top down in pearl rib. First the back piece is knitted, then the shoulder sections and front piece, and finally the torso. Finally, rib edges are knitted along the neckline and armholes.
Do a spot test before you start. Note that pearl elastic grows when washed/used. You can therefore expect the knitting tension before washing/using to be around 24-25 sts per 10 cm, and that after washing/using it will increase to the intended 22 sts per 10 cm. It is essential for the shoulder width and fit that the knitting tension is maintained. Therefore, wash the sample before measuring the knitting tension.
Size guide
Friday Slipover should have a range of motion ( positive ease) of about 6 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-50 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size fits you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S, which has a width of 96 cm.
