About color reproduction
We always do our utmost to ensure that the product images reproduce the colors correctly. However, monitors display colors differently, some may display them deeper and stronger while others brighter. We therefore cannot guarantee that the pictures show the exact color of the yarn. You can always email us at info@lillagarnbutiken.se if you want to see more pictures.
Wash and care
The yarn producer writes that this yarn can be machine washed on a wool program with wool detergent. Please note that this is only the case if you knit with the yarn alone, if you knit together with other yarn qualities, we at Lilla garnbutiken recommend that you wash by hand.
You can of course wash this garment by hand, we then recommend that you wash with wool detergent, for example Eucalan. Leave the garment in a tub with about 4 liters of water together with a teaspoon of wool detergent. Then gently squeeze out the water and place the garment on a towel. Roll the towel with the garment and squeeze out the water.
If you have a washing machine that can run a spin-only program, you can use this instead of squeezing out the water in a towel. If you are unsure about your washing machine, we recommend that you knit a test patch that you wash and spin to see how the yarn and fabric behave.
Let the garment dry flat, preferably on a towel.
Vandre is a durable yarn made of 100% Norwegian wool. 50% of the wool comes from spinning saws, whose long fibers contribute to durability. This makes the yarn suitable for socks and sweaters that must withstand a lot.
Garments knitted in Vandre should be machine washed on a regular program before use to allow the fibers to settle. This makes the yarn more dirt-repellent and increases wear resistance, as well as becoming softer and unfolding.
Wash the garment at 40° C on a program that lasts for about an hour with high spin. Shape the garment when they are wet and let them dry flat.
Vande is spun and dyed at Rauma's shop in Romsdalen, so neither wool nor yarn has traveled far to become the skein.
Norwegian is characterized by good wear resistance, elasticity and resilience. The yarn is carded, which gives the wool a fine balance between function and comfort. The result is light, airy and garments that can be used over a long period of time.
